Ever since I got engaged to my handsome D in February, wedding planning has been in the back of my mind. We haven't set a date yet, which gives me the opportunity to find inspiration for my indecisive self. When I've thought about our wedding, I've always envisioned getting hitched on the beach (barefoot, maybe?). So with this in mind, I've been thinking of locations in South Florida. I've made a list (not the shortest) but I can't shorten it until I have a date and I can see how much $$$ everything costs. These are my options, so far...

I love, love this place. It's absolutely gorgeous and of course, beauty comes with a hefty price tag. This is my ideal place but I'm realistic and I know it probably won't happen, but it doesn't hurt to ask!
2. Key Largo Grande Resort and Beach Club, Key Largo, Fl
I’ve never been to this place but I found it online and I’ve driven past it on US1. The pics from the website look beautiful – I really want to check this place out. http://www.keylargoresort.com/meetings_and_weddings/index.cfm

D’s mother got married here and it was absolutely stunning. The key to this place is to get married during the day and not at night…unless you can afford to close down the entire restaurant. Regardless, I think it’s pointless to get married on the beach at night - you can’t enjoy the view!
4. Deering Estate

This place is beautiful but it’s super, super pricey. The only exception is if my guest list is 75 peeps or less. That might be nearly impossible, but you never know.
5. Public parks – Cape Florida, Crandon Park, Miami Beach
All of these places are on the water and the views are amazing. The only problem is that these would be great ceremony locations but the reception would have to be held elsewhere.
