Wedding photography is definately a top priority

D and I haven't been able to set a date yet (which sucks) but I've still been on the lookout for ideas. One of the most important things for me, right after marrying my love, is photography. I love taking pictures and I need to have an awesome photographer who can capture my vision. I had been searching for a while now and a couple days ago, I decided to contact a few of my favorite photographers.

I'm glad I did because I was in for an awakening. I was so set on one photographer that when I received a quote that was double my budget, I was really sad...tear. A couple hours of contemplating doubling my budget, I decided I needed to stick to it and just find someone else. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

So I went on weddingbee.com and looked through the South Florida boards for any photography-related posts. I found this post - hallelujah! Reading through all the posts, I found other brides-to-be who needed a photographer on a small budget.

Enter 13:13 Boutique Wedding Photography. I love, LOVE their work. I emailed Ashley and within an hour I had a quote for my wedding. She was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I can't do anything until I set a date (which sucks yet again). But I really, really hope when the time comes, 13:13 is not booked. Fingers crossed!

Here are some of my favorite pics...

Ok, I'll stop now :)

I think you don't need such an "amazing" photographer when you guys are beautifully photogenic... :o) which from your tennessee pics.. that's a.... YES!.. :o) so don't worry so much on the incredible "work" that someone can create... and just be fortunate to have someone their that will capture the love you guys have..that needs no "talent"... love doesn't need photoshop or direction!

ok so. I personally love the 13:13 one, I think it's more fun and crazy but that's how I am.
The Chelsey one is beautiful and she has really classic taste. So basically it all boils down to classic or fun? 13:13 can obviously do classic stuff but what will your focus want to be?

They're both crazy cheesy haha but I guess there's no escaping that with wedding photos =P

Ok anamachine...I think I really, really like 13:13. One of the benefits of using them is that both the wife and husband photograph the wedding. So I really like the idea of having 2 people :)

Awwwwwwwwww...as long as the photographer doesn't cut our heads off lol

Wow that's great! You can have one do the more classic photos and the other focus more on the natural or fun side.

there's a little fyi on what Dollar Tree has... when you think about your flower arrangements or party favors and stuff there's great things there.
Obviously you won't be using plastic plates and cups but you know, the other stuff is good lol

I really like the Brooklyn Bride website. I added it to my Google Reader thing. And ay dios, you and your Dollar Tree. I will admit, the glass vases look nice. So maybe...lol
